Weather
Mornings can be a bit chilly but the
days usually brighten up fast.
Around 1 PM the temperatures will
have shot up to a quite
pleasant height, only interrupted
by a cool breeze coming from the lake.
It starts cooling down around 6 PM.
Evenings are very pleasant and nights
are clear, perfect for stargazing.

These rules MUST be read before you post your applications.
OOC = Out of character IC = In character
Concearning admins and moderators
01. Admins word is law. This should be clear. Anyone who disobeys an admin will get a warning if it's nothing too serious, then will be banned the second time it occurs.
02. Do not argue with the staff We are still human, yes, so it's possible for the staff to make mistakes. Please point them out and don't start to argue. If you have any idea's for improvement, put them in the appropriate forum, don't randomly start criticising.
Registering your character
03. Each character will have it's own account Though it might be slightly annoying to change accounts between different character postings, it will be much clearer overall. You must use the same e-mail address with every new registration.
04. Do not post anywhere with your new character until an admin has accepted your application. The application will be moved to a different forum and you will be notified by PM. This rule is mostly for the members, to save you the disappointment when certain abilities or plots are not suited for your character or if your application gets declined.
05. Any sexual oriëntation is allowed Whether your character is straight, gay or bisexual, they will receive the same treatment on the site. It may ofcourse result in other characters discriminating against your character, but if it's taken outside the IC area, the offensive party will be banned.
06. 'Perfect' characters will not be accepted. Character applications for 'perfect' characters will be asked to be re-written. If it's still not acceptable enough the second time, it will be removed. There is no such thing as the perfect girl or boy, no-one is without flaws and no-one is loved by everyone. Keep this in mind.
07. You must have permission for special abilities You can only have 3 special ability's per person, but please keep it real. You can't have pyrokinesis and cyrokinesis at the same time. All special ability's have to be approved by an admin. If your character already has one special ability and you wish for it to have another, ask us for it via PM.
08. No more than 3 characters per person. The maximum number of characters we will allow people to have is 3. Whether or not we will accept your second or third application will depend on how active you are with your current character(s). If you are unsure about this, ask a mod or admin. It would be a shame if you put a lot of hard work into building a character and then having it been declined.
Though we will not put restrictions on how many teachers or anything you can play - some people just have a knack for playing teachers instead of students for example - please try to make the characters as divers as possible.
Posting Out Of Character
09. Discrimination and prejudice will not be tolerated. This rule is solid. This place is firstly a place to have a good time. If you want to discriminate people, go do it some place else. Be it gender, racial or ANY other form, you will be banned immediately. Everyone has the right to be who they are.
10. No fighting If you have a problem with someone, talk to the admins. If we see you taking your personal differences (from the IC area) into the OOC area, you will get one warning. Only one.
Posting In Character
11. Discrimination and prejudice will be tolerated up to a certain point If we decide this behaviour is getting too violent, we will remove the post and give it's author a warning. Repeated failure to see the boundaries will result in banning.
12. God-modding and power-playing is not premitted You don't always win every fight, don't always manage to hit your target, don't evade every attack. And you do NOT decide for yourself how another person's character responds.
13. Pregnancies, marriages, relationships, deaths All of the above are allowed if all the people involved and an admin have discussed the plot and given their individual accord in the plot discussion forum. It also has to be withing reason. If the admin doesn't like the plot, it's not going to happen. Sexual threads are permitted to RPers and characters above the age of 16. Do not create a thread if this is not the case.
14. Listen to your superiors - at least to some of them Be realistic; you cannot get away with being disrespectful. Pranks and disrespect will be tolerated to a certain extent. You do not own the school and can get expelled.
15. Swearing is allowed Keep it to a minimum, though.
16. Always use OOC tags when inside the IC area Though we'd rather you don't write OOC at all in these area's, if you have to, please do so in the appropriate manner: (( Text )). Note, however, that we do have a special OOC board. Any OOC messages in the IC area not related to the RP will be deleted.
17. Write in third person Third person meaning the use of 'he', 'her', 'them', etc. Thoughts and conversations are of course exceptions.
18. Use proper grammar and punctuation marks This makes the reading a lot more pleasurable. Reading an incoherent scentence that lasts for six lines without any comma's is highly annoying.
"Conversations go like this." Thoughts are put in italic. Bold can be used for shouts, loud noises or to empasise.
19. Write atleast 500 words per post This is not as much as it seems. It's about two small paragraphs.
General
20. No advertising outside the appropriate area We have a special forum for advertising, make use of that. Not outside that forum also means no advertising in signatures.
21. You must be active By active we mean reply here atleast twice a week. We will do check-ups to see who's inactive. I hope this rule will not be hard to follow for most people around. After all, what's the use of joining an RPG if it will be dead?
22. Avatars and graphics The board has restrictions on the size of avatars. This means you won't be able to use anything bigger at all. Avatars have to be between 20x20 and 100x100. Signatures can be no larger than 450x200 and can contain no more than 300 characters.
23. Appropriate ratings must be included in thread titles Whether it's in the IC or OOC forums, please do your best to decide for yourself if rating is necessary. If you create a sexual thread, put [R] in your title.
All that being said, don't forget to have lots of fun. If a fellow member askes for help, please be so kind as to help him or her out. And respect everyone.
